this visual art piece and the elements on it gave me awe by the crips lines on her dress and the shading, colors of the fire sprawling from the bottom of her dress. I personally would own a copy of this art piece in my room not only because it's a beautiful piece but it also goes with the theme or I guess feeling of my room. it also speaks to me as when I was a dancer myself and how beautiful one painting can bring so many meanings back into someones heart and mind.i would like to not only see this art in my room but also in art museums or even in dane studios and theaters. the back story of this drawing named a burning flame within by Vanessa Horabuena is "When the way you re going seems impossible and the journey is longer and more strenuous than you could have ever imagined, I pray that you remember the struggles of those who have gone before us." the prophetic meaning is "May He ignite within your heart dreams that have long laid dormant, and may He be the fuel that brings them to fruition.  a burning flame within was made in the United States of America but I could not find where exactly in the U.S.A it was made.

Hi, my name is Taryn Kneebone. I am an elementary education major at the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. I have lived in this beautiful state, to be specific I've lived right here in Fairbanks since 2015 when me and my family moved here due to my father serving in the military and retiring here. I am excited to learn about art and the history behind it.  My relationship to art might be different than most people because I make jewelry and I do aerial silks which is a performing art. I am open to trying other types and techniques of art. Like for example painting, pottery, and drawing etc.  I do in fact own some art but only a few pieces that arent my own or a loved ones doing. The exacution of lady Jane Grey, by Paul Delaroche, 1833 French Artist Paul Delaroche’s 1883 painting “The Execution of Lady Jane Grey” portrays the historical execution of Lady Jane Grey at the Tower of London.  She was the great-granddaughter of Henry the VII.  At the very young age of only 17,  Lady Jane Grey was executed in February 1554. She was charged with treason and ultimately sentenced to death along with her husband.  The painting shows the moments leading up to her execution, her white petticoat and the starry darkness surrounding her are stunning. It not only highlights her innocence but showcases the blindfold covering her fearful eyes as she sits preparing herself for her upcoming death. Ladies, I assume to be her family, surround her wailing, overcome with grief knowing that in a few short moments, her life will end.
